Award-Winning Local Brewery to Reopen Taproom Following Fire

Silver Branch Brewing Company will reopen its Warrenton Station taproom at 56 E. Lee Street in downtown Warrenton, Virginia this week following an extended closure caused by a fire in December 2024.

The brewery will hold a two-day grand reopening celebration on Friday, October 9 and Saturday, October 10. The Warrenton location will be open from 3 to 10 p.m. Friday and 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, with Silver Branch beer and food from Mosaic Pizza.

The reopening brings Silver Branch back to Warrenton after the fire forced the taproom to temporarily close. Guests will once again be able to order the brewery’s lineup of lagers, Belgian-inspired ales, American craft beers and other styles, along with house-made pizzas from Mosaic Pizza.

Silver Branch currently operates two locations in Montgomery County, its original brewery at 8401 Colesville Road in Silver Spring and a second taproom at 7301 Calhoun Place in Rockville, which opened last year in the former True Respite Brewing space. The brewery is also developing additional locations in Wheaton and Leesburg, Virginia.

Silver Branch was recently named Maryland’s best brewery by Mashed and earned a Gold Medal at the 2025 Great American Beer Festival for its Glass Castle Czech-Style Pale Lager.
