The MoCoShow’s own Damon Anderson will be among the newest members of the Quince Orchard Hall of Fame, with the longtime Cougar being inducted as a community member for his decades of involvement with the school.
Anderson’s connection to Quince Orchard began as a student-athlete, where he established himself as one of the school’s top wrestlers. During his athletic career, Anderson earned All-County honors and was named Honorable Mention All-Met in wrestling.
His relationship with QO continued long after his time as an athlete. Anderson, an Army veteran, has served as a historian and active member of the Quince Orchard alumni community since 1998, helping preserve and celebrate the history of the school and its athletic programs.
While Anderson is being inducted in the community member category, his contributions to Quince Orchard span both athletics and decades of continued involvement with the school.
The 2026 Hall of Fame class will be recognized on Friday, October 16 at 6pm, prior to Quince Orchard’s varsity football game against Clarksburg. A reception for inductees will begin at 4:30pm in the QO Dance Room. The Hall of Fame banquet will take place Sunday, October 18.
