The Takoma Park Police Department, Prince George’s County Police Department and Maryland-National Capital Park Police will hold an interjurisdictional public safety meeting.
The meeting will take place on Tuesday, October 20, from 7-9pm at the Takoma Park Recreation Center, located at 7315 New Hampshire Ave. Takoma Park City Councilmember Amy Wesolek and Montgomery County District 4 Councilmember Kate Stewart will also participate in the meeting.
Law enforcement representatives and elected officials will provide an overview of recent crime trends in Takoma Park’s Ward 6 and discuss jurisdictional responsibilities and coordination between agencies on public safety issues. The meeting will be held in person only.
