Permanent signage is now up at the future Buffalo Wild Wings GO at 4611 Sangamore Rd., Suite C, in the Shops at Sumner Place in Bethesda.
As we previously reported in July, the delivery and carryout-focused restaurant is taking over the space formerly occupied by The Backyard Bird Feeder, which relocated to 10105 River Rd. in Potomac Village. An opening date has not yet been announced.
The Bethesda restaurant will become the fifth Buffalo Wild Wings GO in Montgomery County. The concept has opened locations in Burtonsville, Gaithersburg, and Kensington over the past year, with another location also planned for 3231 Spartan Rd. in Olney, in the former Three Points Cycles space.
Buffalo Wild Wings introduced its GO concept in Georgia in 2020 as a streamlined version of its traditional sports bar restaurants. The smaller-format locations focus primarily on pickup, takeout, and third-party delivery.
