The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) has announced the return of Monster Flash, its decorated Halloween-themed Flash bus, for two free events on Saturday, Oct. 24 and Sunday, Oct. 25.
MCDOT will once again bring its family-friendly Halloween festivities to locations across Montgomery County, giving visitors an opportunity to tour Monster Flash, the department’s not-so-spooky “haunted” bus.
On Saturday, Oct. 24, Monster Flash will visit Twinbrook Library from 10am to noon, followed by Germantown Library from 2-4pm. The Halloween fun continues Sunday, Oct. 25, when Monster Flash will be at Marian Fryer Town Plaza from noon-4pm.
In previous years, MCDOT has partnered with Montgomery County Public Libraries for Monster Flash events featuring activities such as storytime, a dance party, themed crafts and games, along with tours of the decorated bus.
Monster Flash is a Halloween-themed version of one of the buses used for Montgomery County’s Flash bus rapid transit service.
