The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Frost Advisory for portions of Montgomery County and surrounding areas in Maryland and Northern Virginia from 1am to 9am Sunday.
Temperatures could fall as low as 33 degrees, resulting in frost formation. The advisory includes Northwest Montgomery County, including Germantown and Boyds.
The NWS warns that frost could harm or kill sensitive outdoor vegetation and recommends taking steps to protect tender plants from the cold.
