Eat More Taco is expanding into Maryland, with a new restaurant planned for College Park.
The 100% halal taco and Mexican street food concept announced that it has signed a lease at Union on Knox in College Park. An opening date has not yet been announced, with the restaurant currently listed as “coming soon.”
Eat More Taco has gained popularity since opening its first location earlier this year in Virginia at 708 N. Glebe Rd in Arlington’s Ballston neighborhood, taking over the former Grill Kabob space.
The restaurant specializes in Mexican street food, with a menu that includes tacos, burritos, birria pizza, quesadillas and bowls. Options include carne asada, chicken and other marinated meats, along with handcrafted tortillas, salsas and house-made sauces. Eat More Taco has also attracted attention for its oversized 20-inch taco.
According to the restaurant, “Eat More TACO is all about bold, fresh street tacos that is 100% Halal,” with its menu inspired by authentic Mexican street food. The College Park restaurant will be Eat More Taco’s first location in Maryland. Additional details, including an anticipated opening date, will be shared when available.
