Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a three-vehicle collision near Jones Mill Road and East West Highway in Chevy Chase on Thursday afternoon.
According to MCFRS spokesperson Pete Piringer, the collision involved three vehicles, including one towing a trailer and another that overturned. Several lanes were initially blocked as emergency crews responded to the scene.
All lanes of MD-410 (East West Highway) at Beach Drive have since reopened, although drivers should expect residual delays.
No information about injuries has been provided at this time.
