QToys Closes at Westfield Montgomery One Year After Opening

QToys has closed its store at Westfield Montgomery in Bethesda, nearly one year after opening its first Maryland location at the mall in November 2025, according to a report by Robert Dyer.

The collectible toy retailer, which specializes in figures and other collectible merchandise, was located on the mall’s upper level next to Läderach Chocolatier. The store celebrated its grand opening on November 8, 2025.

The closure comes less than two months after competing collectible toy retailer POP MART celebrated the grand opening of its permanent Westfield Montgomery location on September 5, 2026. POP MART, also based in China, specializes in designer toys and blind-box collectibles, including its popular Labubu figures. POP MART previously operated a vending machine in the mall’s Dining Terrace before opening its permanent storefront.
