$1 Million Lottery Ticket Sold at Maryland Royal Farms Remains Unclaimed

A $1 million-winning Powerball ticket sold in Maryland last month remains unclaimed as of November 5, according to the Maryland Lottery.

The winning ticket was purchased at Royal Farms, located at 12545 Eastern Avenue in Middle River, for the Saturday, October 17 drawing. The ticket matched all five white balls but missed the Powerball, earning a $1 million prize.

The unclaimed ticket is among several major Powerball prizes won in Maryland during the recent jackpot run, which ended Wednesday night when a player in New Jersey won an estimated $874 million jackpot, the ninth-largest in Powerball history.

Maryland also had a $50,000 winner in Wednesday’s Double Play drawing. That ticket was sold at Talbert’s Ice & Beverage Service, located at 5234 River Road in Bethesda. The winning Double Play numbers for November 4 were 3, 6, 23, 58 and 65, with a Powerball of 15.

According to the Maryland Lottery, Powerball sales in the state totaled more than $29.6 million during the jackpot run, generating more than $5.7 million in prizes for Maryland players and contributing approximately $7.4 million to state programs and services.

Other unclaimed $50,000 Powerball tickets were sold in Adelphi, Silver Spring and Baltimore.
