The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is investigating the suspicious death of a person in the 9300 block of Piney Branch Road in Silver Spring.
According to MCPD, “On Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at approximately 2:44 p.m., 3rd District officers and Montgomery County Fire Rescue responded to the location and found an adult male victim with trauma to the body. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The decedent has been transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore, where an autopsy will be conducted to officially determine the cause and manner of death. This is an active and ongoing investigation.”
