Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS) responded to a carbon monoxide (CO) alarm at Julius West Middle School (651 Great Falls Rd) in Rockville at approximately 11:30am on Monday, October 28.
According to Chief spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, he school building was evacuated, and an early dismissal was organized. Crews identified a likely CO leak in the boiler room and worked to ventilate and monitor CO levels. No injuries or illnesses were reported.
