Montgomery Parks is inviting the public to celebrate the reopening of a popular park in downtown Bethesda as activity returns to renovated Caroline Freeland Urban Park
Montgomery Parks is planning thr celebration of the reopening of Caroline Freeland Urban Park on Saturday, November 9, 2024, 2-3:30 p.m. The fun family event will feature free activities, giveaways, and refreshments for all.
Situated near Bethesda Row, the Connie Morella (Bethesda) Library and Giant grocery store, Caroline Freeland Urban Park is a hub of activity in downtown Bethesda. The community will welcome its renovation and reopening with pumpkin decorating, a free Barre3 class and refreshments. The park is named for the first female chairperson of the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission. The Freeland family will be represented in the speaking program which begins at 2:15 p.m.
