District 4 (4D) Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) Commander David Smith shared that this morning, detectives from the MCPD Major Crimes Division were passing thru the 4th District when they identified and later recovered a stolen vehicle in Wheaton-Glenmont.
According to Commander Smith, “The vehicle was followed to the area of Goodhill Road and Harrell Street. At that time [three] occupants got out and attempted to evade police, so if you saw officers running in the neighborhood, that’s why. 4th District officers converged onsite and thru a joint effort, everyone was quickly arrested.
