The Gaithersburg Police Department responded to a stabbing at the Cancun Mexican Restaurant in Olde Towne Gaithersburg on Thursday evening.
According to police, “on December 26, 2024 at 7:33 p.m., police responded to the Cancun Mexican Restaurant located in the 100 block of E Diamond Avenue for the report of a stabbing that just occurred. An unknown male suspect and victim were involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation.
The suspect then brandished a knife and cut the victim causing a laceration to his face. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.”
