District 3 Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) Commander Jason Cokinos wrote, “Community member eyewitness 👀 leads to juvenile robbery arrests in White Oak area.

Yesterday around 4:30PM two juveniles assaulted a person selling flowers in the area of Columbia Pike @ Tech Rd. During the assault, the juveniles robbed the victim of multiple flower bouquets and fled.

An eyewitness carefully, and at a safe distance, kept an eye on where the suspects went and relayed information to your @mcpnews 3rd District officers. Officers were able to quickly arrest both subjects.

One juvenile already had an ankle monitor on for a previous felony crime 🤦🏻‍♂️. Both were charged and released to their parents per direction from the Department of Juvenile Services (DJS).”
