Montgomery County Police 4th District (4D) officers and specialized teams recently made multiple arrests, recovered stolen vehicles, and closed robbery cases, including the January 30 arrest of a robbery suspect in Wheaton, the January 31 arrest of two suspects linked to a November 2024 robbery, and the recovery of two stolen vehicles near Veirs Mill & Randolph Rd, leading to four arrests and drug seizures.
According to District 4 (4D) Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) Commander David Smith “Sharing a small sample of some 4D enforcement actions over the past few weeks, highlighting arrests, recovered stolen vehicles, and the swift actions of 4D MCPD officers, investigators, and specialized teams.
-On 1/30/25, an alert officer assigned to the central business district team arrested a suspect who robbed and assaulted a victim at Triangle Ln + Reedie Dr.
-Combined work from 4D investigators and specialized teams led to the arrest of two individuals (adult & juvenile), with the last arrest occurring on 1/31/25, closing a 11/26/24 robbery case that occurred in the 10880 blk of Georgia Ave.
-On 1/22/25 and 1/24/25, 4D specialized teams recovered two stolen vehicles (pictured) near Veirs Mill & Randolph Rd, resulting in 4 total arrests, multiple outstanding arrest warrants served, and seizure of Fentanyl/Adderall. The Honda recovered on 1/24/25 had only be stolen 20 minutes prior. Community safety is a priority for us! #MCPD #CommunitySafety #4DHappenings“
