Montgomery County Police Report Arrests, Stolen Vehicle Recoveries, and Robbery Case Closures

Montgomery County Police 4th District (4D) officers and specialized teams recently made multiple arrests, recovered stolen vehicles, and closed robbery cases, including the January 30 arrest of a robbery suspect in Wheaton, the January 31 arrest of two suspects linked to a November 2024 robbery, and the recovery of two stolen vehicles near Veirs Mill & Randolph Rd, leading to four arrests and drug seizures.

According to District 4 (4D) Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) Commander David Smith “Sharing a small sample of some 4D enforcement actions over the past few weeks, highlighting arrests, recovered stolen vehicles, and the swift actions of 4D MCPD officers, investigators, and specialized teams.

-On 1/30/25, an alert officer assigned to the central business district team arrested a suspect who robbed and assaulted a victim at Triangle Ln + Reedie Dr.

-Combined work from 4D investigators and specialized teams led to the arrest of two individuals (adult & juvenile), with the last arrest occurring on 1/31/25, closing a 11/26/24 robbery case that occurred in the 10880 blk of Georgia Ave.

-On 1/22/25 and 1/24/25, 4D specialized teams recovered two stolen vehicles (pictured) near Veirs Mill & Randolph Rd, resulting in 4 total arrests, multiple outstanding arrest warrants served, and seizure of Fentanyl/Adderall.
