As of 10:30am, we remain under a Winter Storm Watch that goes into effect 1pm on Tuesday afternoon and lasts until 7am Wednesday morning. We’ve compiled the latest maps we can find from the four major networks to show you what they’re thinking (all maps available below):
NBC4 has the highest snow forecast with 4-8 inches for all of Montgomery County, DC, Howard Founty, Prince George’s County, Loudoun County a some other surrounding areas. It drops to 3-6 inches as you go north to Frederick County and Carroll County.
FOX5 has a widespread 4-6 inches for most of the area, which includes just about all of Maryland and much of Northern Virginia.
The latest maps we could find from ABC7 is from Sunday, but it shows 4-6 inches for all of Montgomery County and surrounding areas.
WUSA9 has the 4-6 inches line going through the middle of Montgomery and Loudoun counties, with areas north at 2-4 inches.
