On Saturday and Sunday, the Red Line will operate in two segments between Shady Grove and Medical Center and between Van Ness and Glenmont due to track maintenance.
Per WMATA: Shuttle buses replace trains between Medical Center and Van Ness. Crews will be working to replace the switch machines in the interlocking where trains are able to cross between separate tracks.
Service Information:
Red Line: Trains will run every 8 minutes during the day and every 10 minutes after 9:30 p.m. between Shady Grove and Medical Center.
