Founded in 2020 by Kaosarat Fawehinmi, Laud Shawarma gained popularity for its authentic taste and high-quality ingredients. What began as a passion project during the pandemic has evolved into a destination for shawarma enthusiasts.
The menu features a blend of traditional cooking techniques and fresh, local ingredients, ensuring each bite delivers a rich and memorable flavor. In addition to shawarma, Laud Shawarma offers quesadillas, savory sides, and signature sauces.
Kaosarat Fawehinmi’s journey from Project Manager to restaurant owner reflects her entrepreneurial spirit and culinary passion. An alumna of Howard University, she holds a Master’s degree in Technology Management from UMUC.
