With the release of former 1st round pick Jonathan Allen, who was the second longest tenured Commander, the team continues to change under General Manager Adam Peters and Head Coach Dan Quinn. Below we have a list of the five current Commanders players who have been with the team the longest:

5. Cornelius Lucas (five years): Originally entering the league as an undrafted free agent in 2014, Lucas has built a solid career as a versatile and reliable lineman. He joined Washington in 2020 and has started 38 games for Washington in that time.
