The Rockville City Police Department (RCPD) is investigating a discharging of a firearm that occurred Wednesday night.
According to RCPD, an investigation revealed that a Black male wearing a white jacket was seen firing a gun into the air along the footpath between Atlantic Avenue and the Twinbrook Rec Center. The incident occurred around 9:50 p.m. Authorities collected evidence at the scene, confirming the witness report.
