Passport Juices, a new juice bar founded by four brothers with roots in Jamaica, has officially opened its doors at Solaire Social, located at 8200 Dixon Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20910. Passport Juices has taken over the stall previously occupied by SOKO Oysters.
This addition promises to bring a taste of the Caribbean to the local scene, offering fresh, handcrafted juices.
Passport Juices was born from a shared passion for health, culture, and the simple power of fresh ingredients. Growing up in Jamaica, the four brothers were immersed in a world of vibrant tropical fruits and the natural healing properties of local herbs. They developed a deep appreciation for how food and drink can nourish both the body and the soul.
Upon moving to Maryland, the brothers noticed a gap in the market. While juice bars existed, they felt few truly captured the authentic, nutrient-rich flavors they cherished from their homeland. In Jamaica, juice is more than just a drink– it’s a cultural experience, a daily ritual of wellness and tradition. From a cooling mango-pineapple blend on a sunny afternoon to a revitalizing ginger and beetroot tonic, each sip carries a story.
This realization sparked an idea: to create a juice bar that brings the pure, unprocessed flavors of the Caribbean to Maryland. A place where the community could enjoy natural, handcrafted juices made with real ingredients, free from artificial additives, and infused with the spirit of the islands. And with that vision, Passport Juices was born and has now found its home within the vibrant Solaire Social community at 8200 Dixon Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20910.
