The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) arrested a retail theft suspect in downtown Silver Spring on Monday after the individual attempted to steal pounds of steak and other items from Safeway using a large contractor-style bag
According MCPD 3rd District Commander Jason Cokinos, “another retail theft suspect arrested (second of the day so far in DTSS…) 🚔🚔 This one after the suspect loading up a “contractor sized” plastic bag with various meats 🥩 from Safeway 🤦🏻♂️. The suspect tried to resist arrest but was unsuccessful and earned a trip to Central Processing. Pounds of stolen steaks and other stolen merchandise was recovered.”
