The Rockville City Police Department recently unveiled a new design for its police badge and on Friday shared an updated design of its cruisers that feature the updated badge.
“After more than fifty years, the Rockville City Police Department is proudly updating the design of its police badge to better reflect its commitment to the community and modern law enforcement principles.”The badge was created by Smith & Warren Badges and the department released a video detailing how the new design came about.
On Friday, the department shared news of the updated design that can be found on cruisers. “You may have missed the news that the RCPD’s patrol cars have been updated with a new design. Several of the new cruisers are now in service, with additional ones arriving soon.”
