Suspect Wanted for Alleged Gun Threat Following Traffic Confrontation

Montgomery County Police are investigating an April 7 assault on Finley Street in Wheaton, where the driver of a silver sedan allegedly pointed a handgun at a truck driver in a residential neighborhood after being yelled at for speeding, and are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect.

According to MCPD, “At approximately 3:57 p.m., 4th District officers responded to the location for the report of an assault involving a handgun. The investigation has revealed that the suspect was driving a silver sedan at a high rate of speed in a residential neighborhood. As the suspect passed a tractor-trailer, the driver of the truck yelled at him to slow down. The suspect then got out of his vehicle and displayed a handgun in the direction of the truck driver.

The suspect is described as a male of unknown race, approximately 20 to 30-years-old, with black hair, approximately 5-feet, 8-inches tall, and last seen wearing a baseball hat.
