Rock Legend Bret Michaels Crashed the Party in Ocean City for a Great Cause Saturday Night

Bret Michaels, the frontman of the rock band Poison, spent his Saturday night partying in Ocean City, MD. Michaels, who has sold over 65 million albums worldwide and is known for hits such as “Talk Dirty to Me,” “Something to Believe In,” “Nothing But a Good Time,” and the number-one ballad “Every Rose Has Its Thorn,” was in town to support a local charity and ended up hanging out much longer than expected.

He was scheduled to stop by Ocean 13 Seafood and Steakhouse to join his friends—Pete Manassas Evick and Chuck—who were performing a set at the venue. Instead of a brief appearance, Michaels stayed for an hour, singing and raising funds to send local children to diabetic camps for the summer. Michaels shared the following on his Facebook page:

“Last night at Ocean 13 Seafood and Steakhouse in OCM, I walked on in the middle of my friends Pete Manassas Evick and Chuck’s set for simply the love of the friends, fans, the music and, most importantly, the generosity of charity. I know I was jumping on to do one or two songs but instead stayed there for an hour, singing great music and raising a lot of money to send several local area kids to diabetic camps for summer – OCM, I love you🤘”

Based on the comments and photos, the crowd had an amazing time. Michaels was in town last month for “Boardwalk Rock” and referred to Ocean City, MD as one of his favorite towns while naming Ocean 13 one of his favorite places. Prior to last night’s event, Michaels wrote, “I’m about to hang with family & friends and have a little nothing but a good time Parti-Gras in OCM.”
