The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is investigating a serious collision that occurred on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at the intersection of Newport Mill Road and Veirs Mill Road in the Wheaton-Glenmont area.
According to MCPD, “At approximately 8:10 a.m., Montgomery County Police along with Montgomery County Fire and Rescue personnel responded to the location for the report of a two-vehicle collision involving a Nissan Rogue and a motorcycle.
The adult male driver of the motorcycle was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening-injuries. The adult driver and juvenile passenger of the silver Nissan Rogue remained on scene and were then transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. This is an active and ongoing investigation.”
