Dolan Uyghur Cuisine, a highly anticipated addition to the Montgomery County dining scene since we shared the news a few weeks back, is now officially open. The restaurant, which specializes in authentic Uyghur dishes from Central Asia, is located at 20-A Maryland Ave in Rockville, within The Square at Rockville, in the space formerly occupied by Kung Fu Kitchen and Peter Chang Rockville.
Dolan Uyghur Restaurant is known for its unique culinary tradition, offering a wide array of dishes. Patrons can look forward to specialties such as hand-pulled noodles, flavorful chicken stew, handmade dumplings, and various kebabs including lamb, rib, and whole lamb tandoor. The menu also features dry-fried chicken and stir-fried lamb, alongside extensive vegan and halal options.
This new Rockville establishment is the first Maryland location for Dolan Uyghur Restaurant, which already has a strong presence with three existing locations in Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia. The restaurant aims to share and preserve Uyghur culture through its distinctive and healthy cuisine.
