Viral Sensation Flavor Hive Comes to Montgomery County This Tuesday

The Flavor Hive food truck will be at Seneca Valley High School in Germantown on Tuesday, August 12, from 10am-4pm.

Co-founded by social media personality Shihan Chowdhury, known online as “Chilipeppercooks,” and Amgd Gende, The Flavor Hive launched in early 2024 and quickly became a hit across the DMV. Chowdhury, a graduate of Seneca Valley High School, helped propel the business’s growth through his large online following. The brand’s signature “walking taco chips bag,” where customers bring their own bag of chips or greens to be filled with halal meats, cheeses, toppings, and sauces, went viral for its customizable options, generous portions, and affordability.

Building on its popularity, The Flavor Hive held the soft opening of its first brick and mortar restaurant at 4260 John Marr Dr. in Annandale, VA, on Thursday, July 24. A second location is already in the works in Alexandria, with more planned for Manassas, Georgetown, and a fifth site yet to be announced.
