Update: All lanes of I-495 Outer Loop at American Legion Bridge have reopened. Expect residual delays.
A collision closes the three right lanes of I-495 Outer Loop at American Legion Bridge on Monday morning.
According to the Metropolitan Area Transportation Operations Coordination (MATOC) Program, “UPDATE: Multi-Vehicle Crash. I-495 SB (Outer Loop) on American Legion Bridge. Montgomery County, MD. 3 right travel lanes remain blocked. Traffic gets by the scene using two left lanes. Outer Loop delays remain, beginning before the I-270 Spur. An extended closure is expected.”
