Signage is now up for The Crêpe Shoppe at 202 Ellington Blvd in Gaithersburg’s Downtown Crown. The Gaithersburg-based business, already a staple at several local farmers markets, is preparing to open its first brick-and-mortar location.
The shop will be located next to the upcoming Taco Bar El Güero, which is relocating from its longtime home inside a gas station at 10003 B Fields Rd.
According to the Crêpe Shoppe, “At the Crêpe Shoppe, we make amazing classic crepe’s but what really sets us apart is our innovative health conscious menu options and seasonal specialties. We do this by collaborating with local vendors for the best, freshest, seasonally available locally sourced ingredients. The Crêpe Shoppe can be found seasonally in various Farmer’s markets throughout the DC metro area. We also offer full service catering for intimate to large-scale meetings or events. Contact us today for a quote for your next event.”
The Crêpe Shoppe was co-founded by Maritza Guzman Dotti, who brings more than a decade of food service industry experience. After serving as East Coast Manager for a national bakery company, she launched the Holy Crêpes food truck in 2013, where her recipes quickly became popular and sales tripled year-over-year. Dotti says her mission is to provide excellent customer service and “make people happy — one crêpe at a time.”
We will provide an update when an official opening date is announced.
