The holidays are set to sparkle once again in Rockville as The Square hosts its annual Rockville Tree Lighting on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The event will take place at 36 Maryland Avenue (formerly Rockville Town Square), bringing the community together for an evening filled with music, performances, and holiday cheer.
Guests can enjoy live performances from The Grandsons, Dawn Crofton Dance Connection, the Rockville High School Choir, and the Richard Montgomery High School Chorus. Families will also be able to take photos with Santa, enjoy hot cocoa, shop from local vendors, and take in the festive atmosphere as the city’s holiday tree is officially lit for the season.
The evening will be emceed by our very own “Mr. MoCo” Alex Tsironis, who will help guide the night’s festivities and countdown to the lighting of the tree. Attendees can bring donations for the Toys for Tots drive, helping to spread joy to local children in need this holiday season.
