Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Serices (MCFRS) and Montgomery County Police 3rd District officers responded around 1:30 p.m. to a rollover collision at Old Columbia Pike and Musgrove Road in Fairland.
Musgrove Road remains closed between Old Columbia Pike and Randolph Road. The collision is now being investigated as a fatality after an adult female was pronounced dead on scene. A male passenger was transported with non life threatening injuries. Drivers are urged to avoid the area.

“The following is a brief summary of events regarding a fatal, single-vehicle collision on Old Columbia Pike.
At approximately 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 9, 2025, Montgomery County Department of Police – 3rd District officers and Fire Rescue personnel responded to the area of Old Columbia Pike and Musgrove Road for a report of a single-vehicle collision involving a black Cadillac XT4.Upon arrival, responders found the vehicle overturned with two occupants inside. The driver, an adult female, was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger, an adult male, was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.The Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) is investigating. Preliminary information indicates that the Cadillac was traveling south on Old Columbia Pike when, for reasons currently under investigation, the driver lost control of the vehicle at the intersection of Old Columbia Pike and Musgrove Road. No other vehicles were involved.A news release will be issued once more information becomes available, including the name of the decedent, following proper notification of next of kin. This remains an active investigation, and it may take several weeks for CRU to complete its investigation.”
