One of Ocean City’s most beloved sandwich spots, and a social media sensation this summer, has officially wrapped up its season. Seaside Deli, known for its stacked subs, quick wit online, and beach-town charm, announced this past week that it has closed for the season and will reopen in March 2026.
The deli, which went viral this summer across Maryland and beyond, shared the following post on social media this past week:
“That’s a wrap, folks. We’re officially closed for the season — the slicers are resting, the fryers are cooling, and the crew is finally catching up on sleep.
From the first sub of summer to the last bag of chips, you showed up, chowed down, and made this season unforgettable. We’re beyond grateful for every hungry local, beach bum, and visitor who made Seaside Deli part of their summer story.
Don’t be strangers — we’ll be back before you know it, ready to serve up the good vibes (and the best d@m sandwiches in all of #oceancitymaryland). Until then, stay warm, stay kind, and stay hungry.”
The deli has built a loyal following online and in person, with visitors calling it a must-stop for hearty sandwiches after a day on the boardwalk. Though the doors are closed for winter, fans won’t have to wait long, Seaside Deli says it’ll be back and slicing again in March 2026, just in time for another season at the shore.
