Lime & Cilantro, located at 1909 Seminary Road in Silver Spring, has announced that it will reopen this Tuesday after being for over a month due to unexpected legal matters. The update was shared in a new post on the restaurant’s Instagram page, where owners thanked the community for its patience and support throughout the closure.
In the statement, the restaurant said it has worked hard behind the scenes to resolve all issues properly and is now ready to reopen “with the same passion and care” customers have come to expect. “We absolutely can’t wait to bring our food, energy, and restaurant family back to this amazing neighborhood,” the post read.
The popular eatery, known for its Latin-inspired dishes and community-focused atmosphere, had been listed as “temporarily closed” since early October. After navigating what it described as a challenging period, Lime & Cilantro said it is eager to “fire up the kitchen” and welcome everyone back to share in the next chapter of the restaurant together.
