The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is investigating an armed carjacking reported Thursday afternoon in Takoma Park.
According to MCPD, 3rd District officers were dispatched at approximately 1:07 p.m. to the 7700 block of Eastern Avenue for the report of an armed carjacking. Preliminary information indicates that two suspects remain at large. No injuries were reported, and no arrests have been made at this time.
Police say the case remains an active and ongoing investigation. Further details will be released as they are confirmed.
