Montgomery County detectives are investigating a robbery in which two suspects assaulted a man outside his home in the 800 block of Orchard Way in Silver Spring, forced him inside, and stole money early on November 12.
The victim was hospitalized in serious condition, and police are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Solvers of Montgomery County.
According to MCPD, “The investigation has revealed that in the early morning hours of Wednesday, November 12, 2025, the victim was leaving his residence when he was struck in the head by two unknown Black male suspects who were standing on the victim’s porch. The suspects continued to hit the victim in the head until dragging him into his home, where they demanded money.
The victim, fearing for his life, complied with the suspect’s demands. The suspects then left the residence with the stolen money. The victim was transported to an area hospital in serious condition.
