The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is investigating a shooting that occurred Wednesday, December 17, 2025, in Silver Spring, where an adult male was found with a gunshot wound and transported to a hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. No suspects are in custody, and detectives are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Solvers as the investigation continues.
According to MCPD, “At approximately 7:37 p.m., 3rd District officers and Fire Rescue personnel were dispatched to the 13100 block of Musicmaster Drive for the report of a shooting. Responding officers located an adult male with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Currently, there are no suspects in custody. This remains an active and ongoing investigation.
