Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) 5th District officers arrested a driver Monday after a vehicle pursuit that ended near the MARC Train Station on Bowman Mill Road.
Police say officers attempted to stop the vehicle around 12:00 p.m., but the driver fled and struck multiple vehicles while trying to evade police, including marked police cruisers. A pursuit was initiated and continued for a short time before the suspect was taken into custody near the MARC station.
No bystanders were injured during the incident. One officer sustained minor injuries but did not require transportation to a hospital.
According to MCPD, the investigation remains active and ongoing, and additional details will be released as they become available.
