Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) were dispatched to the 800 block of Lowlander Lane in Silver Spring for a reported house fire on Thursday, January 1.
According to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services, crews arrived to find a fire on the second floor of a two-story single-family home, with all occupants safely outside and no injuries reported. Four adult occupants, one male and three females, were displaced by the fire and waited in a heated vehicle while arrangements were made for assistance from the American Red Cross.
