Below is an updated look at the latest retail and dining changes coming soon to Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda, including new restaurants, specialty shops, and brand relocations.
Andy’s Pizza, known for its award winning New York style pies featuring 72 hour cold fermented dough and a crisp yet chewy crust, opened in the dining terrace between Chipotle and Cava last month.
Arc’teryx – Arc’teryx, a premium outdoor apparel and gear brand specializing in technical climbing, mountaineering, skiing, and hiking equipment, is now open. The company is widely recognized for its high performance outerwear, including GORE TEX jackets and alpine ready packs.
Esvin’s Bagels and Cafe, a new family-owned bagel shop is expected to open in early 2026. The cafe will be located on the lower level across from Kapow Buddy, near the Old Navy and Cheesecake Factory area. In additional to bagels, the cafe plans to offer a diverse selection of beverages and pastries, including aguas frescas and shakes.
Gold Bunny Donuts is now open in the former Donut Chew space and offers specialty cream filled donuts including flavors such as Banana Custard, Earl Grey Cream, Matcha, Tiramisu Cream, Dirty Chocolate, and Biscoff topped varieties. The concept comes from Kokee Tea, which already operates a kiosk in the mall.
Immersa, a new virtual reality entertainment destination, has opened on the mall’s lower level, across from the Lego Store. The venue offers immersive 360 degree experiences including simulators, interactive adventures, and family friendly VR attractions.
Kami Ramen – Kami Ramen will open next to Cinnabon and offers traditional Japanese ramen bowls, sides, and beverages in a casual dining environment.
Lucky Strike is permanently closing its location at Westfield Montgomery Mall on Sunday, January 4. The entertainment venue first opened at the mall in March 2017, offering bowling, arcade games, food, and drinks. A representative shared that the closure is due to the lease expiring, and that it will not be renewed.
Maman Joon – Maman Joon is now open in the former Brio’s Chicken and Tara Thai space. The restaurant features Persian inspired kabobs, stews, rice platters, sandwiches, soups, salads, and desserts.
Mavi – Mavi, an international denim and apparel brand founded in Istanbul in 1991, known for its premium fabrics and sustainable All Blue production methods focused on reducing water and energy usage, is scheduled to open in early 2026.
QToys – QToys is now open on the upper level next to Läderach Chocolatier. The brand offers collectible art toys, blind box figures, and designer character figurines for collectors.
Shiki Fusion is coming in early 2026 to the space above Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings and across from AMC. The restaurant will blend Japanese technique with Thai flavors and will offer seafood focused dishes, sushi, noodle entrees, and fresh herbs and spices is coming soon. The
Wetzel’s Pretzels – Wetzel’s Pretzels is coming to the mall, offering freshly baked pretzels, pretzel dogs, pizza bites, and lemonade. The chain is also opening a location at Westfield Wheaton.
