Detectives with the Montgomery County Department of Police Special Victims Investigations Division are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 17 year old, Tanease Callands.
Police say Callands was last seen on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at approximately 12 p.m. at the Shady Grove Metro station in the 15900 block of Somerville Drive in Rockville. She is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall with brown eyes and black hair that is currently dyed red. She has a heart tattoo near her left eye and a tattoo reading “TY” in cursive on her right arm or wrist.
At the time she was last seen, Callands was wearing a pink crew neck shirt, black sweatpants, and white and silver sneakers with green accents. Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to contact the Montgomery County Police non emergency number at 301-279-8000.
