Montgomery Parks is inviting couples to plan a more sustainable celebration at its upcoming Upcycled Wedding Fair, set to take place later this month at Rockwood Manor in Potomac.
The event will feature recently married couples selling gently used wedding items, giving engaged couples the chance to find affordable decor and essentials while reducing waste and environmental impact.
The Upcycled Wedding Fair will be held Sunday, February 22, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Rockwood Manor, located at 11001 MacArthur Boulevard.
In addition to shopping for secondhand wedding decor, attendees will be able to receive guidance from wedding-planning experts, tour Rockwood Manor’s historic house and scenic grounds, and connect with other couples navigating the planning process.
“The Upcycled Wedding Fair is a wonderful opportunity for couples to connect with others who are planning this major life event and see the beautiful event spaces we offer at Rockwood Manor,” said venue manager Lucy Cosgrove. “Many couples these days want to celebrate their new beginning in a way that honors nature and the environment. This event helps them do exactly that.”
Customer registration for the event is free. Space is still available for vendors interested in selling pre-loved wedding and event items. Vendor registration costs $25 and includes the use of a six- or eight-foot table and two chairs. Advance registration is required.
