Montgomery County’s Chief Administrative Officer Richard Madaleno shared a parking advisory Saturday night as snow is expected to fall from Sunday into Monday, with a Winter Storm Warning in effect for roughly half of the county and a Winter Weather Advisory for the remaining areas.
In a post on social media, Madaleno encouraged residents to use private garages and driveways where possible, along with County parking garages. When street parking is unavoidable, residents are asked to park on the even side of the street.
Parking in County garages will be free on Sunday, and parking enforcement will be suspended until at least noon on Monday to allow residents time to retrieve their vehicles after the storm has passed.
