Hobby Works, a long-standing hobby and model store in Rockville, has permanently closed its location in Federal Plaza after decades of serving the community.
The store was located at 12274 Rockville Pike, #G, in the busy shopping center along Rockville Pike. Hobby Works had served hobbyists in the area for decades, offering a wide selection of model trains, radio-controlled vehicles, plastic model kits, paints, tools, and other hobby supplies.
While the Rockville store has now shut its doors, the company’s Laurel location at 354 Domer Avenue remains open and continues to operate. Though the store shared via Google that they lost their lease to a national tenant, Federal Realty has confirmed that nothing has signed on to take the space at this time.
