Montgomery County Police 3rd District officers located an adult male in the roadway at Georgia Avenue and Silver Spring Avenue around 3:12 am Saturday with apparent stab and gunshot wounds.
Police later confirmed the man sustained only stab wounds and was transported to an area hospital with non life threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing and additional information has not yet been released.
At approximately 3:12 a.m., 3D officers located a person in the roadway at Georgia Avenue and Silver Spring Avenue with apparent stab and gunshot wounds.
The extent of the injuries is unknown.
