Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service crews responded around 4:15pm on Tuesday to the railroad crossing at Randolph Road and Nebel Street in Rockville for a collision involving a train and a vehicle.
According to officials, a vehicle that was on the tracks at the CSX railroad crossing was struck by an MTA MARC passenger train. Multiple MCFRS units responded to the scene, and CSX rail traffic in the area was temporarily stopped during the response. Authorities said there were no injuries reported involving occupants of the vehicle or passengers on the train. The train sustained minor, cosmetic damage.
