Montgomery County Department of Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a reported peeping incident at a North Bethesda clothing store.
According to police, the incident occurred on Friday, January 16, 2026, at approximately 3:12 pm at the H&M located at 11850 Grand Park Avenue.
Investigators say an adult female was inside a dressing room attempting to try on clothing when she heard a noise coming from the adjacent dressing room. When she looked, she observed a male suspect standing on a chair and holding his cellphone over the dividing wall. The suspect fled the scene shortly after.
Police describe the suspect as a White male, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and around 150 pounds, with a medium build. He was wearing black-framed glasses, a black beanie, a black leather jacket with white and brown designs on the front and back, dark jeans, and blue and white Adidas shoes. Detectives have reviewed surveillance footage and are working to identify the individual.
