Taste of Burtonsville to Debut with Food, Music, and Family Fun on April 25

Burtonsville is getting a new food-focused event this spring, bringing together local restaurants, live music, and family-friendly activities for an afternoon celebration.

The inaugural Taste of Burtonsville will take place on Saturday, April 25, from 11am to 2pm at the Marilyn J Praisner Community Recreation Center, located at 14906 Old Columbia Pike.

Organized by the Montgomery County East County Regional Services Center in partnership with the Greater Silver Spring Chamber of Commerce, the event will showcase a mix of international and American cuisine from eight local restaurants. Attendees will be able to sample a variety of dishes while enjoying live performances from JoGo Project, along with a saxophone performance by Officer PJ.

In addition to the food and music, the event will include activities for children, making it a family-friendly outing for the community. Admission is priced at $25 in advance or $30 at the door, with free entry for children 12 and under. Tickets include event entry, sample bites from participating vendors, access to a kids zone, and live entertainment.
